The MFZ138-25A is a compact biomedical freezer designed for the secure storage of temperature-sensitive products in space-constrained environments. Thanks to its small size and 117-liter capacity, it can be installed on a work surface or bench for quick access in laboratories, pharmacies, hospital wards, or preparation areas.
Features and Functions
The MFZ138-25A is equipped with a variable-speed compressor (Adaptive Cooling Technology) and a No-Frost® fan-assisted cooling system, ensuring uniform temperature distribution throughout the enclosure. The adjustable temperature range from -5°C to -25°C allows for optimal storage of a wide variety of biomedical products.
Its i-Care touchscreen controller provides an intuitive interface for parameter adjustment, real-time temperature display (in graphical form), data logging, and USB export. The system includes multiple safety alarms: temperature, door open, probe failure, and power failure.
Compliant with requirements
The MFZ138-25A complies with DIN13277 - DX15140 and ATEX standards, ensuring its safety for use in biomedical environments. It is equipped with a 24-hour backup battery for the controller, an integrated lock, a probe port (Ø 20 mm), a dry contact, and an automatic door closing system <90° (hold >90°).
Storage reliability
The MFZ138-25A offers excellent thermal stability (±0.3°C) and temperature uniformity of ±1.4°C. It reaches -20°C in just 70 minutes and can maintain a temperature below -10°C for 61 minutes in the event of a power failure, ensuring the protection of sensitive samples.
Its compact design does not affect its performance: the model is also equipped with a hot gas perimeter heater to prevent condensation and ensure a hermetic seal under all circumstances.
